Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10, 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. A tool and die maker who previously employed as a laborer for an industrial company. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her 3 siblings. Stone started second grade in kindergarten at the age of five. She graduated with a high school certificate at Saegertown in Saegertown situated in Pennsylvania in the year 1975. Stone also participated at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone, along with her aunt in 1977, made the move into New Jersey for a modeling job. She was signed by Ford Modeling Agency a week after. Then, she moved to Europe, spending a year in Milan in Italy and Paris. Stone unhappy with the world of model within Europe decided to take up acting as she lived in Europe. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," which received mixed praises.
