McKayla Rose Maroney is a former American musician and artistic gymnast. She was a member of her country's American women's gymnastics squad known as known as the Fierce Five. In the Summer Olympics in 2012 she won gold in the team event and a silver for individual vault. Early life. McKayla Rose Maroney, daughter of Erin (died in 2019) and Mike Maroney, was born on December 9th, 1995, Aliso Viejo. McKayla is of Irish Catholic descent. McKayla is a sister to Tarynn Kav. Maroney recalls, "When i was a kid, I'd watch Tarzan while running on all fours. My mother was always like, 'I need to put my child into gymnastics. Lauren Drain was a member of Westboro Baptist Church and wrote Banished in 2013. The book recounts her experiences, such as being kicked out of the church. Lauren is currently in a relationship with fitness model David Kagan (since August 2013) since their wedding. The couple has one daughter, named Aria Skye Kagan, born on the 29th day of December in 2019. Kagan had a brief time alone in Topeka, but was haunted by remembrances of her deportation from the church and her family. She eventually decided to relocate to Connecticut. She was cut off from her family and church due to her mother, father sister and her brother.
