Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to a family in South London. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss as is her mom who's English. She was born on the South London community estate, as a teenager, she 14, attended The Brit School. She graduated with a BA in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. At the academy and performing in numerous stage productions, such as King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe launched her acting career through the film Storm Damage. In the years since she has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. Her popularity resulted in her being cast as Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot, then appear in the six-episode series Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. The year 2008 saw her had the opportunity to play the role in the role of Bambi in the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl and was featured in the series two and three. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and Alienate people (2008). Performance credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe made her US debut on the Drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes in the US on The CW before being cancelled. She was cast in February 2011 in the role of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe appeared in all episodes in the series' second season as an regular. But in May of 2013, word broke that the actress would quit the show due to her appearance as a guest on the premiere episode of its third season. She starred as Tituba in the TV show Salem from 2014 until the year 2016. Madekwe married her actor partner Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. They've worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he had a role alongside her on the show Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress who was raised in an extended family. She was born to Roy and Patty Leggat. Her family included the parents Roy and Patty together with four older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. The four brothers of Ashley, who were all extremely physically active, were all playing hockey during the winter months and played baseball in the summer months, which means they grew up mostly in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley was never a walker, she did dance, so when she was 2 1/2 years old she started Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. It was then that she discovered Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley continued to compete until her high-school graduation with top divisions like ballet, tap, Jazz and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and much more. Every big dance events, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the honor of "top individualist".
